Paya Rumput Assemblyman, Datuk Rais Yasin stressed his commitment to always giving priority to the education of tahfiz children and religious studies in the constituency concerned, during a visit by a team of bikers to Pondok Darul Muttaqin, Paya Rumput, yesterday morning.
YAB Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, also attended this visit, expressing his desire to donate to two tahfiz study centres, one of which is Madrasah Ar-Rabbaniah Darul Ikhlas in Krubong.
Pondok Darul Muttaqin is a tahfiz study centre under the auspices of The Malaysian Cottage Development Foundation (YPPM) which is the idea of YAB. Former Prime Minister, Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Bin Tun Hj Abdul Razak.

This academic center operates in a hybrid manner, housing 25 senior citizens and including tahfiz children with the concept of 'Modern Islamic Learning'.
Rais Yasin, also the Senior Exco of the State of Melaka (Housing, Local Government, Drainage, Climate Change and Disaster Management), stressed that: in conjunction with the upcoming month of Ramadan, the State Government of Melaka will soon implement welfare programs and a touch of love for the people.
